The Girl Behind the Brand.

Welcome to RMRW Originals

Let me just start off by saying I am so dang glad you're here! My name is Rylee Reiter-Walterscheid. Yes, it's a mouthful. And yes, it's German. Reiter is my maiden name and Walterscheid is the last name I took when I married my husband, Tyler.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME.....

I grew up in a small town in North Texas on a third generation, family owned and operated dairy farm. I've been around livestock since the day I was born and have known nothing but it. I've also been horseback since before I could walk.

My mom has a true talent and passion for riding and training horses, and I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of that at such a young age and carry it on as I got older. That same talent and passion carried me through countless 4-H shows, barrel races, and cutting shows in my youth all the way through college, where I rode for the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Equestrian Team.

While at SMU, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Religious Studies and Studio Art. I've had a passion for photography and drawing for as long as I can remember, but it was through the studio art classes in college that I was really able to refine and perfect the talents I was blessed with.

Directly following college, I came back home to begin co-managing Reiter Farms a family-owned equine breeding program that specializes in the production of Appaloosa cow-bred horses. I've had the incredible opportunity to start and train a number of colts produced from our foal crops, and even go on to win multiple world titles in cutting, working cow horse, and reining on one of these colts.

I now stand this world title-winning stallion, RF Wapz Smart Move, to the public and promote him. Not only do I have the opportunity to work with and train horses every day, but I also have the privilege to photograph and create artworks of these incredible animals - as if they aren't already one themselves.
